Install it and make the first backup
The installer includes the agent, the service that schedules backups and the cloud connector. You need an account to download it.
Downloading requires an account
The free plan stays free, no card needed. The account lets us warn you if a security flaw turns up in the version you have installed, and lets you recover your licence when you change machines.

It updates itself
Once installed, AIASafe checks for a new version at startup and every 3 hours, and never updates in the middle of a backup.
Verify what you download
Every release is signed by AIASoftware and notarised by Apple; your system checks the signature when you open it.
