Privacy policy

AgentesIA Lab, S.L. (Tax ID B27602085, Calle Bruselas 36B, 28232 Las Rozas de Madrid, España) is the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at hola@aiasafe.com.

The short version

Your backups are encrypted on your own computer before they leave it, with a key we do not have. We never see their content — not the files, not their names. What we do hold is your account: your email address, your licence and which computers use it.

What we collect, and why

• Email and password. To create and access your account. The password is stored hashed (bcrypt); we cannot read it. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Licence and devices. Plan, expiry, and an identifier, name, operating system and architecture for each computer you activate, so the licence works and to enforce the number of seats. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Downloads. Which version you downloaded and when, so we can warn you if a security flaw is found in a version you have installed. Legal basis: legitimate interest in product safety.
• Billing data. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legal duty to keep invoices.

What we do NOT collect

The content of your backups, or the names of your files. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers on this website. An anonymous visit sets no cookies at all; if you sign in, a single technical cookie keeps your session open, and it needs no consent banner because it is strictly necessary.

Who else processes your data

• Stripe Payments Europe — payments and invoicing (Ireland).
• Google (Gmail API) — sending account emails.
• Cloudflare R2 — hosting of the installers, EU jurisdiction.
• Wasabi — encrypted backups of our own database (Europe, eu-west-2).
• Our hosting provider — servers located in Spain.

Where any of these transfers data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your account data for as long as the account exists, and for one year afterwards in case you come back. Invoices for the period required by tax law (currently six years in Spain). Password reset links expire after one hour.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing by writing to hola@aiasafe.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

One caveat we would rather state plainly: deleting your account removes your data from our systems, but it cannot delete the backups you have stored in your own destinations — they are yours and we have no access to them.
